Awesome for a night out. It is battery operated and has three settings: flashing quickly, flashing slowly and still mode. Not sure yet how long the battery will last but its lasted at least one night out. Good product!

I haven't used it yet because it's a bit heavy as a collar for my puppy, but I can't wait to see how it lights up. It has a small box that I believe contains the battery, and above that is the on/off button, and that's the part that's heavy.
It is still very nice to look at and is adjustable.
